Personal And Professional Preparation

The Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Chicago (ISPP, Chicago) resides in the heart of downtown Chicago, just blocks from Millennium Park and within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, public transportation, and cultural and entertainment venues. Founded in 1976, ISPP, Chicago offers both a Master of Arts (MA) and a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, with each program designed to encourage the personal and professional growth of our students through faculty mentorship, engaging classroom discussions and experiential learning opportunities.

Our in-house clinic, The Psychological Services Center at Argosy University, Chicago, provides additional practicum training opportunities for students. We also maintain the Lake Michigan Internship Consortium (LMIC), an Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) member consortium that offers local internships exclusively to our students.
